Where are nose job scars?

Dr. Sean is here to help answer all your questions about plastic surgery.
Today’s Question: Where are nose job scars?
There are two types of nose jobs. The first one is a “closed” rhinoplasty, meaning the incisions are all inside the nostril, and is usually reserved for very minor changes to the nose. The second type is an “open” rhinoplasty which means there is also a small incision carried across the columella. This incision heals in a virtually scarless fashion due to the robust blood supply of the face and delicate technique. Open rhinoplasties will be much better for more significant changes since it allows for a more comprehensive view and control of the nasal structure.
